The Laine and The Gabriel

About

LaineGabriel began when Lisa Laine Miller and James Gabriel Brown recognized a shared perspective. After years in both agencies and corporate roles, they saw how often internal teams struggled to find partners who truly understood how corporate communicates and how employees receive information. LaineGabriel was built to bridge that gap with empathy, strategy, and creative clarity.

James Gabriel Brown

Some people tell stories with words. Others with images. He tells them with both—and then some. With more than 25 years in creative direction, he believes great branding is about finding the idea that hasn’t been overdone, creating real human connection, and making it unforgettable.

He’s never been accused of settling for “good enough.” His ideas work hard, connect deeply, and inspire action—whether guiding culture through a corporate merger or launching campaigns that change how people think about healthcare.
